Financial Aid

Tuition assistance is available for Grades K-8. An application for admission to the school and acceptance to the school must be received prior to being considered for financial aid.

Fair Share Fundraising

Tuition does not cover the full cost of educating a child at The Unified Schools of St. Mary Magdalen & St. John the Evangelist. We rely on additional fundraising events each year and require each family to participate to raise money for the schools. Families can also elect to make a donation to the school and take the tax deduction allowable by law. Every family must agree to their annual Fair Share Responsibility at the time of registration.

FACTS Tuition Payment

Families are required to establish a tuition and fee account with FACTS Management. This flexible online payment system provides a customizable approach for families to easily manage tuition payments and fees. Annual, semi-annual and 10, 11 or 12-month payment plans are also available.

Scholarship opportunities available for families include:

  • The Archdiocese of Hartford Foundation for the Advancement of Catholic Schools (FACS) offers a scholarship by application in the late winter for students in all grades. This is a renewable scholarship and application is made directly to FACS.
  • Through the generosity of donors and the parish, The Unified Schools of St. Mary Magdalen & St. John the Evangelist is able to offer a few limited grants for students in grades K-8. To apply for tuition assistance, please visit the FACTS website and follow the directions there.
